Understanding the Manual/Real-Time Routes Page

This guide explains the main functions and elements of the new Routes screen, helping you get started and navigate efficiently.

Set Up

  1. Enable Manual/Real-Time Routes

    • Make sure your system administrator has enabled the feature flag for manual routes/real-time routes.

  2. Open the App

    • Navigate to the Routes tab to access the new routes interface.


Routes Home Page Overview

Quick Actions

  • View All Routes

    • Tap here to see a list of all existing routes, including completed and in-progress routes.

  • Create Route

  • Scan Asset

    • Use your device to scan a QR code on an asset and instantly view open tasks for that asset.


Recent Routes

  • Displays your last 10 routes for easy access.

    • Each route card shows:

      • Route Name & Date: The route’s start time and creator.

      • Status: (e.g., "Complete")

      • Number of Assets: How many assets were included in the route.

      • Duration: Total time spent on the route.

      • Timestamp: When the route was created.

    • Tap any recent route to review its details or continue work (if not complete).

  • Note: Partially completed routes are saved only on the device where they were started. Only fully completed routes are available across all devices.


How to Use Routes (Quick Steps)

  1. From the Routes tab, tap Create Route.

  2. Add or scan assets, add components and tasks as needed.

  3. Complete the route to save your data and mark tasks as finished.

  4. Quickly access your recent routes in the Recent Routes section.
