Overview

Message statuses can now be viewed, filtered, and updated directly on mobile in the Comms Hub. Each post displays its current status with a colored indicator, and you can change a status with a single tap. Message statuses are configured on the web — mobile allows you to view and update them.

Viewing a Status

Each post in the Comms Hub displays its current message status in the post header, shown as a colored circle next to the status name.

Changing a Status

  1. Tap the status button on any post (the colored circle + name).

  2. A popover appears listing all available message statuses, each with its color indicator.

  3. Tap a status to apply it to the post immediately.

The status updates right away — no additional save step required.

Filtering by Status

  1. Open the Comms Hub.

  2. Tap the filter icon to open the filter bar.

  3. Click Status dropdown.

  4. Select one or more statuses to filter the feed.

  5. In the All Filters page, click Done. Only posts with the selected statuses will show.

Default Status on New Messages

When you create a new post, the default status is automatically assigned (as configured on the web) — every post will always have a status. You can change it immediately after posting using the status button.

Use Cases

Tracking post progress — A supervisor opens the Comms Hub, filters to posts with an "Open" status, reviews them, and updates resolved ones to "Closed" without switching to the web.

Triaging incoming messages — A technician creates a post and immediately sets its status to "Needs Review" to flag it for a supervisor.

Focused feed views — A team filters the Comms Hub by specific statuses (e.g., "In Progress") to see only the relevant posts for their current shift.

Troubleshooting

Issue: The status button is not visible on a post.

Solution:

  1. Confirm message statuses have been configured by an admin on the web. If no statuses exist, the button does not appear.

  2. Pull to refresh the Comms Hub feed to sync the latest statuses from the server.

Issue: I cannot find the status I want in the list.

Solution:

  1. Status options are configured on the web. Contact your admin to add or modify statuses.

  2. Pull to refresh to ensure you have the latest list of statuses synced.

Summary

Message statuses are now available on mobile in the Comms Hub. Each post shows its current status as a colored indicator, and you can update it with a single tap. The feed can also be filtered by status to focus on relevant posts. Statuses are configured on the web — mobile supports viewing, updating, and filtering only.
