Basics of Scheduling
While the Work Order Calendar is found in Maintenance > Work Order Calendar this tool may be utilized for every team (HSE, Maintenance, Operations, Etc.). The Work Order Calendar is designed to assign Work Orders to employees, dates, and times. These changes also directly update the respective team board. The following tabs from the far-right white navigation bar are also useful when scheduling Work Orders.
Work Order Information
This tab displays information on the Selected Work Order. This includes the general information on a Work Order as well as the included tasks.
To dos represent placeholders of other time applied to the schedule that is not a work order. Commonly these are downtime events or shop time. While these are assigned to people and assets they are not displayed anywhere on the asset profile or board.
How to Schedule a Work Order
Schedule a work order by navigating to Maintenance > Work Order Calendar. From this view select the All Teams filter and select teams. This will filter out all Work Orders on these selections. Next, optionally change the date range and day/week filter for convenience. From the available Work Order list drag and drop the Work Order Card to the individual. Drag and drop the edges of the Work Order assigned to schedule the appropriate time range.
How to Create a Work Order within the Work Order Calendar
Navigate to Maintenance > Work Order Calendar > + New Work Order. For more information on work order creation please review Team Board Management. Optionally add created tasks from the Task Tab when creating a Work Order.
