Redlist offers administrators the ability to capture the GPS location of employee clock-ins and clock-outs. This feature provides administrators with peace of mind, ensuring that employees are at the correct location when marking their attendance. To enable this feature, follow the steps outlined below.
Step 1: Click on the "Settings" then select "Time Keeping"
Step 2: Click on "Configure Timers"
Step 3: Check the "Require Punch Location" checkbox
Note - Enabling the "Require Punch Location" setting will prompt users to allow Redlist to capture their location when clocking in and out.
Step 4: Click on the "Save" button
Step 5: View Clock-In and Out Locations:
After saving the changes, users' clock-in and out locations will become visible in the Time Tracking approvals queue. These locations will be displayed in both the card and table view formats.
Redlist's location capture feature does not continuously track user location or movement. It only captures the user's location during clock-in and clock-out events.
